Privacy Policy

Farefinda ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Allfinda Ltd. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Data we collect

• Search data: When you search for flights, we pass your search parameters (origin, destination, dates, passenger counts) to our third party partners to retrieve live results. We do not store your search history.
• Click data: When you click "Book", we record that a click occurred (for affiliate commission tracking). This is anonymous. No personal data is stored.
• Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site and app are used (page views, app activity, approximate location derived from IP, and device identifiers such as a client/advertising ID). See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Push notifications (app only): If you allow notifications in the Farefinda Android app, we use OneSignal (delivered via Firebase Cloud Messaging) to send them. OneSignal collects a device push token and basic device information (OS version, device model) to deliver notifications. See OneSignal's Privacy Policy.
• Price alerts (optional): If you sign up for a price alert, we store your email address and the route you're monitoring to send you notifications. You can unsubscribe at any time. This feature is currently disabled.

2. What we don't collect

• We do not collect payment information. Booking happens on partner sites.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not track you across websites.

3. Cookies

We and our partners use cookies in the following ways:

• Functional cookies (us): We use session cookies to remember your search preferences (e.g. trip type, passenger count). These are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled.
• Affiliate tracking cookies (partners): When you click a "Book" link and visit a partner booking site (airline or OTA), that site may set its own cookies to track your purchase for commission attribution. This is standard practice for all affiliate flight search engines. We disclose this on every redirect page. You can review each partner's cookie policy on their website.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): We use Google Analytics cookies/identifiers to understand site and app traffic (page views, search volumes, device type). See Google's cookie policy.

By using Farefinda and clicking booking links, you acknowledge that partner sites may set affiliate tracking cookies. You can disable third-party cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect the booking experience on partner sites.

4. Third-party services

• Our partners: Our flight data providers (Travelpayouts/Aviasales). Their respective privacy policies apply to data shared with their APIs, including your IP address (used to localize pricing) and affiliate click data.
• Google Analytics: Used on the website and within the Android app's in-app pages to measure usage. See Google's privacy policy.
• OneSignal: Used in the Android app to deliver push notifications, via Firebase Cloud Messaging. See OneSignal's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare: Our hosting provider processes request metadata. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

5. Data retention

We retain price alert emails only as long as your alert is active. You can delete your alert at any time via the unsubscribe link in any notification email.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@farefinda.com.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via a notice on our site. Continued use of Farefinda after changes constitutes acceptance.
